What would a threat awareness platform be without phishing campaigns? Ours are, as you probably know, individualized, relevant, and pretty cool.
Start by navigating to Business -> Awareness -> Phishing
1. Whitelist the Phishing Service
The Step 1: Instructions tab will walk you through how to whitelist our phishing domain
2. Select a Template
Here you can view any of our pre-made templates, or select the "Add Template" to create your own customized phishing template using HTML. You will select the template when you create a campaign in Step 4.
3. Creating Groups
Groups are used to determine who your phishing campaigns will be sent to. All departments that you have created will be available as their own groups under the "Departments" section. You can also create custom groups by entering the email or the name of any user in the "Users" section. Add as many users and departments as you'd like, then click the green "Create" button to create the group.
- A group is the only way to send a phishing campaign
- All users must be HackNotice users, you cannot send a phishing template/run a campaign to non-HackNotice users
- Once a group is created, you can then run phishing campaigns to these groups
4. Running Phishing Campaigns
In order to run a phishing campaign, you must enter the following:
- Dates when you'd like the campaign to run
- Whether or not you'd like it to be recurring
- A recurring campaign will run continuously for the dates and frequency you set, randomly iterating through the available templates
- The group you'd like to include
- The template you'd like to run (Only available for single campaign, NOT for a recurring campaign. A recurring campaign will randomly select from all phishing templates.)
5. You're Done!
- Check back in the Phishing Dashboard to review results!
