HackNotice supports integration with ServiceNow and other ticketing platforms via a dedicated alerting email address. When configured, HackNotice alerts can automatically generate tickets within your environment for streamlined workflow management.
Follow the steps below to configure your ticketing address.
Step 1 — Navigate to Account Settings
Log in to the HackNotice platform.
Go to Business → Account → Account.
Select the Preferences tab.
- Open the HackNotice platform and proceed to the "Business" section.
- Next, navigate to "Business > Account > Account”.
Step 2 — Add Your Ticketing Email Address
Locate the Ticketing Email Address field.
Enter the email address associated with your ticketing system
(for example, a ServiceNow inbound email integration address).Click Submit to save your changes.
Once configured, HackNotice alerts will be sent to this address and can automatically generate tickets in your ServiceNow or other ticketing platform, depending on your email-to-ticket configuration.
How It Works
HackNotice sends alert notifications to the configured email address.
Your ticketing platform processes inbound emails and converts them into tickets based on your internal automation rules.
Tickets can then be triaged and managed within your standard workflow.
These alerts will mirror the default email alerts you receive from your active HackNotice services. For customized alerts, please reach out to your HackNotice technical representative.
Important Notes
Ensure the email address is valid and assigned to receive tickets in your environment.
Confirm your ticketing system is configured to convert inbound emails into tickets.
You may create dedicated alerting addresses for different alert types if desired.
