A hack notice is a report about a recent hack (ransomware attack, data breach, etc). Information, such as the company, their domain, the date of the hack, and other details of the hack can be found in the hack notice.

For Personal/Non-Admin Users:

If you want to learn more about a hack, you can click the Read More button to go to the source of the hack notice.

Hacks change over time and so do hack notices. Hack notices can have a Hack Updates section, listing additional articles and details found out about the hack over time.

For Security Admin Users:

Hack notices will have additional details, such as a description of the event, dimensions of the breach, and the type of information exposed when applicable. You will also always be provided with a link to the original source of the collected information that confirmed the event.
